The daughter of an Argentinian diplomat, Bettina Garibaldi grew up in Argentina, Australia, the Philippines and the U.S. — an unconventional background that cemented a lifelong interest in travel, adventure and diverse cultures: the perfect recipe for travel destination marketing.
With 16 years of creating business-driving, award-winning, flawlessly executed campaigns that elevate travel brands beyond expectations, Garibaldi is one of Ketchum’s strongest creatives. But it’s her inspirational leadership that had the most resounding effect on clients and coworkers alike.
In 2017, shortly after helping Puerto Rico activate a promotional summer campaign, Garibaldi and her team quickly pivoted to become an emergency communications command center when Hurricanes Irma and Maria pummeled the island.
Garibaldi deftly led her team on a 90-day relief, rebuild and recovery campaign that helped Puerto Rico experience one of the strongest comebacks in tourism history.
She is an active member of the Hispanic Public Relations Association and a member of Ketchum’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council — the force behind the hiring of more multicultural talent than ever before — and is an advocate and mentor for multicultural women within the Omnicom agency.
