One executive says it’s even ‘brought me closer to my colleagues and clients’ of the non-feathered variety.

A handful of unexpected fads have come out of the coronavirus pandemic, and one of the most unusual is people flocking to buy live poultry to raise as pets.

In this week’s Lockdown Life video, PRWeek spoke with four executives who have jumped on the chicken-raising bandwagon.

Sarah Zunt, Praytell VP of account strategy, said that while chicken ownership has actually interrupted her workday, it’s been in a positive way.

“It has brought me closer to both my colleagues and clients and given us something to talk about that is real, personal and human, outside of work,” she said.

Check out this video to meet Zunt’s chickens, as well as the new feathered friends of M Booth VP John McLaughlin, former RPA VP Joycie Weatherby and Tailor Digital Strategies creative specialist Taylor Darnell-Sibal.
