Independent outfit Sling & Stone has secured the Levi's (pictured above) and Rollie accounts in Australia. The work includes creative strategy, PR, social, influencer and partnerships.
"Once the world starts opening back up again, I'm sure we will also be working on lots of exciting experiential consumer activations," Kasi Talbot, global head of consumer at the agency said.
Sling & Stone's past retail clients include fashion disruptors Shoes of Prey and Institchu.
On whether retail fashion brands will remain just as relevant in a post-COVID world, Talbot said it all boils down to authenticity.
"We don't yet know what a post-COVID world will look like, but brands that are tuned in to consumer behaviour trends, adaptive, and above all, bravely authentic will thrive," she said.
"There's no point positioning yourself as relevant in an environment if you are not. Both [Levi's and Rollie's] have innovation at the core and so both will remain highly relevant to consumer audiences."
