Helly Hansen’s Autumn/Winter 2019 season campaign was designed to build on the brand’s mission to help people stay and feel alive’ with its professional-grade gear as well as create meaning behind its Trusted by Professionals’ positioning that goes beyond exhilaration and amazing skiing, to differentiating it from other brands, among other things.

In order to bring this alive the “Tested by Mountains” campaign was created, which follows Chamonix ski patroller Johann Vienney and local freeride legend Aurélien Ducroz as they guide an eclectic group of ski professionals out from the legendary Argentiére Hut. 

As well as  exploring some of the greatest alpine terrain in the world, the guests, consisting of Olympic slalom skiers Erin Mielzynski and Mattias Hargin, and professional freeride skier Marcus Caston, learned why trust is an essential asset when you're hunting steep lines in the cradle of big mountain skiing.

The spot was filmed in the extreme alpine terrain of Chamonix and featuring breath-taking shots of the mountain, the skiers and their gear, the film delivers on brand messaging through an excellent production.
