The Edge Picture Company wins Issues and reputation management category with Look Out Look Up

ENA, the electricity networks’ trade body, wanted a film to make construction workers more aware of their surroundings and possible dangers overhead. Specifically, it wanted to raise awareness of the risks of working close to overhead power lines, reminding people how dangerous even the slightest touch of a live line can be, and also how precious their life is to others. 

The target was construction workers who will be operating machinery, specifically at height - anything from lorry mounted tippers to cranes and grabs. The approach was to tell a story that creates tension and draws the viewer in.

‘Look Out Look Up’ has been distributed across all electricity network areas in the UK, being very well received by bodies representing the target audience and has stopped many people working in construction in their tracks - getting them to rethink the way they see the world around them. 

The film also has been viewed online and in a series of safety events that member companies can run in their local regions.
