Golin will help mental health organisations Mind HK and KELY Support Group with their joint youth mental health initiative Coolminds. The programme aims to raise awareness of mental health and to help stop the stigma amongst young people. It will also provide workshops and training, including in-school and online presentations for students, parents and educators, as well as resources for those in need.
As part of the pro bono partnership, Golin will assist with media relations and creative content, demonstrating how Coolminds can help the younger generation as a mental health resource for not only them, but their parents and teachers.
Jane Morgan, managing director at Golin Hong Kong, says, "Coolminds has arrived at a time when the Hong Kong youth community need it the most and we're proud to be supporting. We see concerns and mental health issues on the rise and we need to act now for the sake of the future generation, and indeed all."
Golin has previously supported non-profit platforms in Hong Kong including Mind HK's "Move It For Mental Health" campaign in February 2019 and 2020, as well as organising the "Putting Mental Health on the Table" in-office event to fundraise for the organisation.
