Stripe will provide PR support across all of Spin Master’s UK products, which include Paw Patrol, DC Universe, Monster Jam, Meccano, Hatchimals and Kinetic Sand.

The agency takes over from Fosbury PR, which has been handling Spin Master’s PR activities since 2015.

The account will be led by Stripe's chief strategy officer Lou Harris and associate director Sam Wetherald.

The agency told PRWeek that Spin Masters was a “significant win” for the agency.

“We're delighted to have been appointed as retained PR agency by Spin Master,” Stripe London MD, Chris Stevenson said. "We work with a brilliant client roster that has enabled us to develop strong expertise in engaging parents and families, and we will put this to excellent use."

“Right from the outset it was clear that we shared a culture of creativity, partnership, and passion with Spin Master. Their product innovation and appetite to disrupt the traditional toy market, coupled with our own ambition to wow consumers with award-winning creativity, will allow us to form a strong partnership and achieve great things together.”

Spin Master commercial director of marketing Phil Hooper added: “We are excited to welcome Stripe to work on Spin Master’s portfolio of toys in the UK market. With their expertise, experience and creativity, we are looking forward to developing industry-leading PR campaigns to support the innovative brands for which Spin Master is renowned.”

Stripe Communications recently won the ScottishPower account and also works with Merlin Entertainment, Rank, IRN-BRU, A.G. Barr, Royal Bank of Scotland, Edrington, Hammerson, Fridays, YOTEL and the Scottish Government.
