Agriculture ministers from ASEAN launched Agritani in Indonesia in June 2002 and are preparing to launch it in Malaysia and Thailand in the first quarter of this year.
Ogilvy PR's task is to revamp the Agritani.net website and create collateral materials - brochures and leaflets - which are sent to farmers.
Media relations across ASEAN member states is also a key component.
Previously, Agritani handled media relations in-house. Ogilvy PR picked up the one-year retainer following a pitch process.
The account is headed by Ogilvy PR Singapore director Tony Gourlay.
