Huntsworth Group CEO Lord Chadlington's sole plan for the vacation is to sleep off a long spell of overwork: 'I have told my wife Lucy that I am going to sleep, and when I don't feel tired I will wake up. When I feel tired again I will go back to sleep. It will be bliss.'
Happily, Chime Communications chairman Lord Bell is not letting what he delicately refers to as 'Chime's corporate situation' impinge on his plans. He will be spending a week in the country house in West Sussex and a week at the Bahamas' pukka Ocean Club.
'Chime's woe is rapidly unwoeing,' he says, 'and I am taking a well-earned rest when the office would be closed anyway.'
