DIARY: Emotional Davies is on receiving end of award

Cardiff's 2008 European City of Culture bid marketing director Bet Davies bagged an unusual honour last week. The former director of media and comms for the Welsh Development Agency, and regional co-ordinator for the Japan 2001 cultural celebration, was honoured at the Japanese Embassy for fostering relations between Japan and Wales.
