Staff moves see Hall secure Shire Health UK MD role

The Shire Health Group has promoted Fiona Hall to London office MD.

Hall, who has been a board director for two years, replaces Neil McGregor-Paterson, who is to head Ogilvy PR's health and medical arm.

The staff changes follows a partnership deal between Shire Health and sister-WPP firm, Ogilvy & Mather, revealed last month (PRWeek, 8 November).

The deal - which comes into effect on 1 January - will see Shire Health become part of O&M's healthcare advertising, direct marketing and PR businesses, with a view to working on clients in tandem.

At Ogilvy, McGregor-Paterson replaces Charles Butler, who left at the end of October (PRWeek, 18 October).

McGregor-Paterson, who officially takes up the Ogilvy role on 1 January, has spent the past two years in the US as founding president of Shire Health New York.
