DIARY: Facelift 'PR' woman works at clinic's PR agency

An Evening Standard feature singing the praises of facelift treatment at London's exclusive Hurlingham Clinic raised Diary's interest last week.

The individual sampling the facelift treatment - at a cost of £12,500 - was Sarah Payne, described as a 'PR consultant from London'.

Payne works for Meena Khera Associates, a PR agency in south London.

When Diary called to point out that Payne was unlikely to give a less-than-flattering review of her firm's client, Khera said simply: 'She doesn't work on that account and she's a marketing consultant, not a PR consultant, anyway.'

And, lest readers' suspicions linger, Khera says MKA was only introduced to the Hurlingham Clinic six months ago - around six months after Payne first began her consultations.
