INTERNATIONAL BRIEFS: US corporate comms managers paid more
NEW YORK: US corporate comms managers are paid more than their advertising and marketing counterparts, taking home an average annual salary of £64,489, according to a survey by US-based Mercer Human Resource Consulting. The questionnaire, entitled The 2002 Corporate Marketing and Communications Compensation Survey, showed ad/marcoms chiefs bag £48,183, while PR managers earn £44,512. The survey covered 229 mid-sized and large US companies.
