na europe agrees UK/Europe news distribution deal

Digital news distributor na europe has announced a deal with the London Stock Exchange's Regulatory News Service (RNS) over the distribution of regulatory announcements across Europe, including the UK.

Under the partnership na europe will deliver text, pictures and graphics to national and financial media in the UK and Europe.

NA europe is the UK division of news aktuell, which in turn is part of German national news agency DPA.

Previously RNS - which is the market leader among six licensed distributors of price sensitive information to the investment market on behalf of listed and AIM companies - had distributed only to financial media in the UK.

RNS head Simon Wilkinson said the arrangement will increase the reach of its announcements across Europe and the UK, and give European media fast access to UK financial and business news emanating from the UK.

RNS already has a partnership in the US with Primezone Media Network.

It delivers more than 600 announcements a day to a global audience of 650,000 dealer terminals and key financial websites and databases.

News aktuell distributes more than 6,000 news releases per month worldwide via its satellite network.
