PUBLIC SECT0R BRIEFS: RSPCA right to call for firework ban
RSPCA: The RSPCA is calling for a ban on the public use of fireworks, which, it is arguing, should be made quieter and restricted to organised displays only. The message is part of its annual campaign to warn of the dangers of fireworks to animals. Last week Guide Dogs for the Blind launched its campaign calling for tougher restrictions on the availability of fireworks.
