INTERNATIONAL BRIEFS: ImClone retains Abernathy MacGregor

NEW YORK: ImClone Systems, the biotech company at the centre of one of the biggest alleged insider-trading scandals in recent years, has retained PR firm Abernathy MacGregor. PRWeek has learnt it hired Abernathy earlier this summer as allegations of insider trading by company founder and CEO Samuel Waksal forced the top executive to resign.
