But the league tables, based on the total value of deals on which the company advised, show a dramatic fall in total deal value that underlines the financial PR downturn.
The data, compiled by M&A information database Zephyr, ranks City PR firms on deals that took place between 1 January and 30 September this year.
Brunswick acted on 91 deals worth £41.6bn during the period, a 37 per cent fall on last year when the firm advised on 86 deals worth more than £66bn.
'Uncertain market conditions and the lack of corporate activity' were blamed for the downturn affecting the financial PR sector this year.
Financial Dynamics has risen from third to second place since last year, replacing Citigate Dewe Rogerson (now third), having acted on 125 deals worth more than £30.5bn. CDR's 63 deals were worth almost £30bn.
