PUBLIC SECT0R: Cambridgeshire Constabulary creates new PR role

CAMBRIDGESHIRE: Cambridgeshire Constabulary, the force investigating the deaths of Soham ten-year-olds Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells, has created the role of head of media and marketing following a review. The review highlighted the need for more of a marketing focus and is not linked to how PR was handled during the recent investigation. PR was previously led by a head of corporate information role, last held on a permanent full-time basis by John Deal who left earlier this year.
