STOP PRESS: The merger of Publicis and Bcom3 takes effect
CORPORATE: The merger of French marketing group Publicis and Chicago-based Bcom3, which owns PR agency Manning Selvage & Lee, took effect this week. It follows a Bcom3 shareholders meeting on Tuesday at which shareholders voted overwhelmingly for the deal. Japanese marketing group Dentsu has agreed to take a 15 per cent stake in the merged business, it was announced.
