"She’s a safe pair of hands and a superb PR to work with," says Mail Online journalist Myra Butterworth of Fewster. Lansons calls her one of the agency’s top media publicists. Recent achievements have included leading the successful Propertymark "Leasehold: A Life Sentence?" campaign, which helped highlight problems with new-build leaseholds and established the client as an authoritative voice on the issue.
The secret to being a good comms pro in 2019 is... The power of personal relationships with key media contacts shouldn't be underestimated. During more than five years at Lansons, I've dedicated time to building a network of journalists and this has proved invaluable.
If I could change anything about the PR industry, it would be... In my eyes the value of PR is still not fully understood. Reputation is vital to the success of a business, and this should be considered within every decision.
I'm inspired by... Everyone I work with. Clare and Tony have built a culture like no other at Lansons. No day is the same; you can work with different people, each with different skills, meaning you constantly have the opportunity to learn, grow and try new things.
If I wasn't in PR, I'd be... I've always been interested in the world of media, completing a journalism degree and several magazine internships before settling down at Lansons. So if I didn't end up on this path, I would have probably ended up on the other side.
