TravelPlus editor Mike Toynbee has appointed former BBC travel correspondent Nigel Coombs as an editorial consultant.
Publisher Simon Ward said: 'We are aiming to bridge the gap between technology and travel. Hotels and airlines spend a fortune on developments such as mobile internet.'
New editorial sections also include guides to the world's major airport hubs, and suggestions for short breaks for frequent flyers, he said.
The bimonthly title was bought by Odin Media from Columbus Publishing last year. TravelPlus is mailed directly to people who take six return flights on business per year.
