Late last month the Ministry (BMU) launched an initiative aimed at protecting avenues that are threatened by exhaust fumes, road grit and deforestation.
The PR push highlights the claim that avenues have not only an ecological, but also an aesthetic and cultural value.
In terms of PR, the campaign has now been boosted with the hiring of ABC Euro RSCG and Human-i Euro RSCG.
The key features of the communications activities are the creation of a website www.
alleen-fan.de, a request for donations to selected companies and individuals by minister Jurgen Trittin, as well as the distribution of free cards and posters featuring the campaign motif, to secure sponsors and support for the campaign.
While Human-i is responsible for the website, ABC is in charge of the PR work, maintaining contacts as well as advising the BMU.
