Rule (pictured), who has also been made a partner at Tyto, leaves Hotwire after 13 years to join Tyto on 29 April.

At Hotwire, she served as global number two to the CFO and was responsible for the day to day management of the finances for nine Hotwire countries as well as overall group finances.

Craigie launched "location agnostic" science and technology PR agency Tyto with ex-charity director Ellen Raphael in October 2017. Tyto said today it has broken the £1m revenue mark with plans to treble in size over the next three years and enter new European markets.

Craigie said: "I’m really excited to be reunited with Emily having worked so closely with her for so many years. Emily’s experience and skills of managing and planning the finances across multiple markets will be essential to Tyto’s expansion plans."

Rule said: "I’ve had 13 wonderful years at Hotwire and I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had but it felt like the right time to apply all of those learnings in a new and fast-growing business environment. Brendon has assembled an award-winning team, and I’m excited to be joining them to help make the long-term vision for Tyto a reality."

Tyto's clients include Laybuy, Freshfields, bitFlyer and iProov.

Hotwire announced that it has appointed Bilal Tarawneh from to the new board level position of UK finance director, based in London and reporting to global CFO Adrian Talbot. It's a more senior role than that held by Rule.

Tarawneh has worked at Enero, Hotwire’s parent company, in Sydney for nearly 10 years and has 15 years’ experience in the marketing/advertising industry, working across the US, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Hotwire said in a statement: "We’re delighted to bring an expanded skillset to our global financial operations division following significant growth under Adrian’s leadership."
