Peugeot announces new agency line-up to help drive comeback in Gulf region

Peugeot has appointed new agencies to handle PR, social and creative, with the aim of raising awareness of its range of high-end mainstream passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

The French auto giant has hired a trio of Middle Eastern shops to handle its comms and social media as it reinforces its comeback in the region with a complete revamp of its agency roster.

Reham Eldidi, regional head of marketing for the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region at Peugeot Middle East, said: "The Peugeot brand is embarking on a new journey in the region and it is very important that we have a strong team of experts who can strengthen awareness of our brand and build its reputation.

"This is an incredibly exciting time for Peugeot; we are introducing some fantastic products to the region and I’m sure, with the support of our new agency line-up, you will be seeing a lot more of Peugeot in the future."

To handle PR, Peugeot has taken on Dubai-based firm Performance Communications, with the automotive and sport specialist agency tasked with handling all aspects of media relations.

With offices in London and Dubai and 10 years’ experience in the region, Performance has worked with some of the biggest automotive players in the industry.

From launching new products, managing major events and creating memorable and engaging brand stories, Performance’s team of passionate ‘petrol-heads’ bring a wealth of automotive knowledge to the Peugeot brand.

Science & Sunshine - appointed as Peugeot's creative agency - has extensive experience in the automotive industry, especially in revitalising and relaunching brands in the region.

With Peugeot's comeback in the region well underway, and with a line-up of future-ready vehicles, Science & Sunshine said they will bring a 'fresh and disruptive strategy to bring the brand back into hearts and minds of motorists, and importantly, back onto the roads'.

Managing Peugeot’s social media is SOCIALEYEZ. Established in 2010, SOCIALEYEZ will 'bring its award-winning conceptually creative ideas to life using insights-driven strategies'.

With a ‘challenger’ mentality, the agency is well-matched to help drive Peugeot’s comeback in the region through its owned channels and grow its presence and community of advocates online.
