Torod Neptune, Gail Heimann win Outstanding Professional awards

PRWeek honored Outstanding Professionals in the In-House, Agency, Young Professional, Marketer and Student categories.

Lenovo’s Torod Neptune won Outstanding In-House Professional at the 2019 PRWeek Awards U.S. on Thursday night, honoring outstanding personal achievement on the client side of the PR industry.

Liza Fefferman of MTV, VH1, CMT, and Logo won honorable mention. Finalists were Laura Anderson of Intel; Megan Marshall of RxBAR; and Gina Sheibley of Salesforce.

Outstanding Agency Professional went to Gail Heimann of Weber Shandwick. Ketchum CEO Barri Rafferty won honorable mention in the category. Finalists were Caroline Dettman of Golin, Wendy Lund of GCI Health, Jim Weiss of W2O Group, and Melissa Waggener Zorkin of WE Communications.

Michelle Alves of Skinbetter won Outstanding Marketer, while Craig Greiwe took home honorable mention. Brad Kreiger of Cushman & Wakefield was a finalist.

Outstanding Young Professional went to Ally Glavas of Candor. The category’s honorable mention went to Heather Yount of PCL Construction, while Trevor Carver of Method Communications, Laura Beth Ellis of Clyde Group, and Zach Hrubic of Coyne PR were finalists.

Alana Doyle of the University of Alabama was named Outstanding Student. Elon University’s Anissa Cooper was honorable Mention. Penn State’s Elise Bingaman, the University of Alabama’s Gabrielle DiCarlo, and Aniyah Morinia of the University of Florida were finalists.
