Former White House communications director Hope Hicks is cooperating with House Democrats’ Trump probe. She plans to turn over documents to the House Judiciary Committee as part of its investigation into potential obstruction of justice, according to CNN. Hicks left the White House in February and later landed a job with Fox as EVP and chief communications officer. 

How to react when your Twitter post becomes a meme? Participate in the meme cycle. That’s what Apple CEO Tim Cook did on Wednesday. Cook tweeted out a picture of himself on Monday using an Apple pencil to write "hello" on an iPad mini. The image became the focus of a meme, with people Photoshopping different images and text onto the device. Cook responded by using the meme to promote the brand’s new AirPods Wednesday on Twitter. Do you think it was a stunt? AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson was on stage at an event at the Economic Club of Washington, DC, when he was interrupted by a robocall on his Apple Watch. "I’m getting a robocall," he said at the event on Wednesday. Interesting timing. Earlier in the day, AT&T and rival Comcast announced a partnership intended to test new call authentication technology that should make it harder for robocalls to spoof phone numbers.

Meanwhile, there’s no question this was a stunt. When people in Southern California saw a flaming fireball burning through the sky on Wednesday night, they assumed it must be a meteor or aliens. But it was just a stunt by Red Bull Air Force skydivers who jumped from a helicopter 4,000 feet above Los Angeles to celebrate the final supermoon of 2019. The Los Angeles Police Department tweeted out a PSA in response to let people know it was just a film shoot, not a meteor or alien invasion. "This is Tinseltown, after all," the LAPD added.
