The hospitality sector rankings in this year's Power Book are dominated by luxury hotel brands such as The Dorchester, Claridge’s and JW Marriott, but a new comms chief at Four Seasons UK Collection breaks into the top ten for 2019.
Caroline Drayton only joined the premium hotel collection last May as senior director of communications, but arrived with 14 years’ experience in the London hospitality industry under her belt.
Previously Drayton was head of marketing and comms at Marcus Wareing Restaurants and before that spent five years as director of comms at St Pancras Renaissance Renaissance Hotel, one of Marriott International’s London flagships.
She joins other female comms high-flyers Julia Record, Paula Fitzherbert, Anna Nash and Hilary Philpott in this year’s list.
