PRWeek UK Power Book: HSBC's Goad tops banking & financial comms top 10 list

HSBC chief communications officer Pierre Goad has been named as the most influential person in UK banking and financial comms, in the latest top ten list published alongside the PRWeek UK Power Book.

The banking and financial list can be accessed here. It is taken from entrants to the UK Power Book, which was launched last week.

This is first time PRWeek has compiled a list of the most influential comms professionals in banking and financial services, and the top of the list is dominated by the major banking groups.

Goad (pictured) is ranked in first place as the most senior comms figure at the UK’s biggest banking group. The former journalist joined the company initially in 2001, and later in 2011 after a stint at Zurich Insurance as head of corporate communications.

The UK Power Book is an extensive list of the most influential and respected comms professionals in the UK today.

The Power Book is available in the latest print edition of the magazine, which will be sent to subscribers this week.
