PRWeek Power Book 2019: New entry to in-house luxury list from disruptive world of online retail

Leonie Gregory from Farfetch jumps into the luxury client top 10 this year thanks to the impact the online retail platform is having on the sector.

The young Gregory, who enters at number eight, is global head of comms for Farfetch, which is working with a growing number of luxury partners including Harrods, Chanel, global fashion brands and boutiques.

Farfetch is an innovative technology platform that many luxury brands are finding very useful in their retail strategies, some using it as a ‘white label’ e-commerce solution.

"Social media and savvy consumers mean the dialogue between brand and customer is more immediate and honest than it has ever been," Gregory tells PRWeek.
