Deeley has more than 10 years of experience in communications as was most recently at Hotwire, where he was a senior programme director. He has also worked in senior account roles at Babel PR, Whiteoakes and IT PR, and has had stints at Octopus Communications.
He has worked on and developed campaigns for clients including Qualcomm, Barclays and Vodafone Global Enterprises.
He joins founders Gay Bell and David Bramley, as well as David Lawrence, to expand Platform’s senior leadership team.
He will lead two accounts at the agency – fast-growing video technology start-up Bitmovin and media tech firm Make.TV.
Platform Communications has grown its revenues by 20 per cent in 2018, which includes winning Bitmovin, Make.TV and Grass Valley. The agency has 18 staff.
"What I loved about Platform when I met the team was the clear vision they have for where they want to take the business," Deeley said.
"There’s an incredible pipeline of activity they have worked hard to build up over an extremely productive 2018, and I’m really looking forward to working with Gay and the team to help the agency achieve its goals."
