Starz Play streams Hollywood movies, TV shows, documentaries, kids’ entertainment, American series, as well as Arabic and Bollywood content, to 19 countries across the Middle East and North Africa.
ASDA’A BCW will manage Starz Play’s strategic PR and communications function and outreach throughout the GCC, North Africa and Levant.
Sunil John, founder and president of ASDA’A BCW, said the agency now serves more than 100 retained clients in the region.

Starz Play co-founder and CEO Maaz Sheikh said the appointment should help the Dubai start-up establish itself as the leading SVOD for family entertainment in the region.
