Asprey appoints Hassan to PR and events head role

Asprey - the demerged luxury goods arm of Asprey & Garrard - has hired Filiz Hassan in its chief PR role.

The newly created position sees Hassan hired as PR and events head after previously working as a senior account director at former Asprey & Garrard retained agency Brower Lewis PR.

The hire is part of an effort to take PR work at the store chain in-house, which also sees the recruitment of Mia Ruulio - formerly a press officer at Hermes - to the role of press officer.

Asprey no longer works with Brower Lewis, but uses Talk PR on project work at corporate level.

Hassan reports to Asprey marketing director Philip Davies.

Much of the PR work to be undertaken by the firm relates to the opening of flagship stores in London and New York next year.
