Brave PR lands Nestle PetCare brief

Nestle Purina PetCare has hired Brave PR on fees believed to be in the region of £250,000.

The firm - the world's largest petcare company - has tasked the agency with driving consumer media coverage of brands including Felix, Friskies Winalot, Friskies Go Cat and the Bakers range.

The work is headed by Brave MD Annabel Hillary, who said: 'We're looking to raise awareness of the brands beyond their niche pet-owner magazines by gaining coverage in the national and regional media.'

Hillary said it is the first time that consumer PR responsibility for the full remit of Nestle Purina PetCare brands has been rolled into one account.

The agency reports to Nestle Purina PetCare communications controller Mary Sharrock. The firm uses Westbury Communications as its retained trade PR agency.
