The agency has been hired by Outernet Global to handle consumer PR around its global series of music and events venues.

Outernet London – set to open in mid-2020 – is a 2,000-capacity live music events venue located opposite Tottenham Court Road Underground station.

The venue will feature a series of 8k-enabled, floor-to-ceiling screens – the highest resolution in the market – designed for brand experience events, as well as The Now Building – a live broadcast facility that will allow brands, artists and storytellers to showcase their work to a global audience.

Frank was brought on to handle the announcement and will now develop the Outernet narrative and opportunities at the space offer consumers, brands and the media.

Outernet will launch in London first, with plans to open venues in New York, Los Angeles and other global cities.

The ‘six-figure’ Outernet account continues a winning streak for Frank in recent months, including Diet Coke, Huawei, Rimmel London, Culture Trip and a Pernod Ricard events space in Manchester.

Frank said Outernet London are keen for the venue to re-energise the musical heritage of nearby Soho.

Outernet’s global leadership team is led by CEO Philip Bourchier O’Ferrall, who recently led Viacom’s International Brand Engagement and Branded Content division, which included putting on the MTV Europe Music Awards.

"As an agency, Frank gets the world of media, entertainment and branded content, so is the perfect partner for us to engage to announce Outernet London," O’Ferrall said.

"We have ambitious plans for Outernet London and having an agency that knows our world is key to achieving these – we look forward to working with Frank to tell a series of stories over the coming months."

Frank managing partner Alex Grier added: "The Outernet will be a truly unique space for London – it will act as both a celebration of Soho’s musical heritage and a future blank canvas for some of London’s best storytellers."
