Finn has become DFS's retained regional PR agency, responsible for managing the regional press office, including new store openings, CSR and brand purpose initiatives, and the regional activation of wider strategic campaigns.
The account, which will be led by account director Catherine Allen, was previously held by Havas PR.
Finn managing director Richard Rawlins told PRWeek that DFS was an important win for the agency because it is "a nationally revered brand which is celebrating a big birthday this year".
"We are delighted to have been chosen to manage media relations for DFS, a fellow Yorkshire-based business we have long admired," he said.
"We’re excited to develop new and creative ways to make a really big impact for the brand by connecting DFS to the people and communities it serves."
