STOP PRESS: Interpublic Group posts drop in revenues
RESULTS: Weber Shandwick parent Interpublic Group posted a 19 per
cent drop in PR revenues in its second-quarter results, revealed as
PRWeek went to press. After a week's delay to review the figures, it
also announced that it will restate several years of results due to
improperly expensed charges. The results saw overall operating profits
fall from £156.8m in Q2 2001 to £154.7m in Q2 this year.
