The account will be headed up by experienced journalist and motorcycle PR expert Andy Downes and Oli Rushby, who joined Potski Media this week.

Rushby most recently worked at Motor Cycle News (MCN) as British Superbike reporter and has previously had stints at Bennetts Biking Services, where he was a content and digital marketing senior executive, RBP International, where he was a senior account executive, and Paddock Chatter, where he was co-editor.

Part of his remit will be to set up and manage a new Yamaha Motor UK Racing feed to keep fans up-to-date on all of the racing classes supported by Yamaha in the UK.

Potski Media’s remit is to help maximise the exposure of the existing relationship between Yamaha Motor UK and Silverstone to the benefit of both parties.

"We have a long relationship with many of the Potski Media team, and have seen the agency develop and grow over the last couple of years," Yamaha Motor UK marketing manager Jeff Turner said.

"We know Potski Media will become an integral part of our brand, and a partner that creates opportunities and excitement to further develop the world of Yamaha."

Potski Media is a specialist motoring PR, content and social media agency launched in 2016 by former Motor Cycle News editor, Marc Potter. It’s clients include Silverstone and Honda Motorcycles, among others.

Potski Media owner Marc Potter said: "Our aim is to help develop and deliver solutions across Yamaha Motor UK’s PR, social media and customer experiences to increase the presence and impact of the Yamaha brand. I couldn’t be happier to be working with Yamaha, alongside Andy and Oli."
