Frank wins Pernod Ricard events venue brief
Frank has been appointed to handle communications for the multi-functional event space in Manchester, The Loft. Frank will focus on driving local brand awareness among businesses, brands, influencers and key stakeholders in the region. The work will be led by Manc Frank, the Manchester office of Frank. Based on the top floor of 13 Quay Street, The Loft opened in 2018 and is designed and operated by Pernod Ricard UK. The Loft showcases the company’s commitment to growing its presence in the north of England. A key purposes is to bring Pernod Ricard UK’s brands to life locally through experiential experiences. Frank is charged with helping promote The Loft’s potential to experiential and event partners in Manchester. In addition, Frank will draw on The Loft’s manifesto as the home of extraordinary experiences to produce and host an exclusive evening of entertainment, in celebration of the venue’s first anniversary in March.
PR Network appoints ex-Golin director
The PR Network has hired a former director at Golin to join its client services team. Katy Campbell, who headed up the npower and Danone accounts for Golin, will work on some of the agency’s flagship clients including Vodafone, Western Digital and OpenSignal. The PR Network, which is led by Nicky Regazzoni and George Blizzard, operates with a 'virtual agency' model, with a small staff and a large network of freelance comms professionals.
Fabrick to promote boilermaker brand
Specialist marketing agency Fabrick has been appointed by boiler manufacturer Alpha Heating Innovation to create and implement a new content strategy to increase brand awareness and drive sales enquiries. Alpha Heating Innovation, part of the Immergas Group, is Europe’s most successful manufacturer of gas boilers for both domestic and commercial users. Fabrick will be providing a range of services including PR and media relations, copywriting, social media, creative and events.
The ASTL appoints new PR agency
The Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL) has confirmed that it has appointed Also Communications to be its new PR agency. Also Communications takes over from Lansons in working with the ASTL to promote responsible lending in the bridging market and enhancing the image of the sector. Benson Hersch, CEO at the ASTL, said: "We have made great strides over the past 10 years and look to further improve matters.
