Our industry is often unfairly considered one of spin, half-truth and exaggeration. However, there are many organisations out there that pride themselves on disseminating accurate and robust information that enhances, rather than takes away, from the debate. In an era of fake news, and sometimes - just as damaging - accusations of fake news, it is incredibly important for evidence based companies to robustly make their views known.
We are privileged to have many such organisations as clients. Our science, engineering and innovation division engages with many of the most interesting and awe inspiring organisations in the world.
Disseminate valuable views and research to the world
These clients not only enable us to disseminate valuable views and research to the world, but have also given us some never to be forgotten experiences. We’ve worked with the inventor of GPS, the co-founder of Skype, the first Briton in space and the eponymous Mr Higgs (of Boson fame). We’ve toured around CERN and taken rides in hydrogen cars, McLarens and ships without navigation systems.
We’ve staged a cyber-attack simulation on HMS Belfast. We’ve accompanied crews to chicken and salmon farms and labs turning whiskey waste into fish food…
We’ve staged a cyber-attack simulation on HMS Belfast. We’ve accompanied crews to chicken and salmon farms and labs turning whiskey waste into fish food. We work with nobel laureates on redefining the SI Units and with leading robotics specialists on launching the UK’s sector strategy.
But we are going a stage further than this by creating, curating and celebrating the top 25 science communication professionals wherever they work. We believe that the communication of science is just as important as its discovery. We are driving the SCi25 initiative to hero those people in-house who are most successfully introducing new research to the world, contributing facts to the global debate and supporting evidence based policy.
Pioneer advice to global tech firms
Meanwhile, our technology division is pioneering advice to global technology firms on how to live their core values and listen to their publics. Our "Feedback Loop" report, informed by a survey of 400 people working in B2B tech PR and marketing has proved extremely influential and has been downloaded by people from all over the world.
We’re also working with some fantastic AI, IOT and security companies which are at the forefront of technologies having a genuine business impact in a range of B2B sectors as diverse as retail, transport, legal and financial services.
One of journalists’ current bugbears is our industry describing products as "AI" when in fact they are not. Machine Learning, when used in the right context is a serious enabler of societal and economic improvement – we’re very proud to be working with companies who understand and create some of the leading solutions in their markets that create real business value.
Experiences and content you’ll never forget
Our vision is to become the most admired technology and science agency to work for and with. We’re constantly striving to make that vision real and our ongoing expansion means that we always require new people to join our journey. It takes a special kind of curiosity to be one of us – it’s certainly an agency with a difference but one that sits at the heart of Fitzrovia and has all the buzz and camaraderie that you associate with PR but with experiences and content you’ll never forget.
Want to join us?
