#LikeAGirl, Go Red for Women dominate PRWeek 20th anniversary 'best campaign' poll

The two efforts ran neck-in-neck to the end of voting.

Two campaigns pulled away from the pack in voting for the best PR campaign of the past two decades.

Go Red for Women, by the American Heart Association, Cone, and Edelman; and Always #LikeAGirl from Procter & Gamble/Always and MSLGroup both captured more than 38% of the vote, which closed on Tuesday at 5 p.m. EST. #LikeAGirl had a slight edge at the ballot box when voting closed, but Go Red moved into first in after-hours polling.

Other efforts that gained more than 3% of the vote included The Heart Truth by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and Ogilvy; the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty by Unilever/Dove and Edelman; and American Express: Small Business Saturday by American Express, M Booth, Digitas, and Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
