PRWeek’s annual conference, PRDecoded, will commence with a breakfast panel featuring McDonald’s CCO Robert Gibbs and United Airlines’ CCO Josh Earnest, both former White House press secretaries who will talk about their journeys from Capitol Hill to the corporate boardroom, while highlighting the translatable skills between the two worlds.

Edelman senior advisor Joe Lockhart, also a former White House press secretary, will join a pre-lunch panel focused on brands taking a stand amid today’s complex political climate.

Other recent additions to the PRDecoded lineup include Pinterest’s head of comms Christine Schirmer; David Simas, CEO of the Obama Foundation; Maggie Fitzpatrick, SVP of corporate affairs, philanthropy, and customer engagement, Exelon; Edelman CEO Richard Edelman; and Beth Engelmann, CMO and CCO, Dairy Management.

They all join a top-level agenda that includes opening keynote Grubhub CEO Matt Maloney; closing keynote Jacqueline Parkes, CMO and EVP of digital studios at MTV, VH1, and Logo; and a first-time-ever panel featuring four members of PRWeek’s Power List.
