NEW YORK: Porter Novelli took home two awards this evening as winners of the eighth annual Diversity Distinction in PR Awards were announced at the PR Council's annual dinner. The agency earned top honors for Best PR Firm Diversity Initiative - $100 million or more in annual revenue, while Soon Mee Kim, EVP, global diversity and inclusion leader, was named Diversity Champion - PR Agency.
Finn Partners earned an award for Best PR Firm Diversity Initiative - less than $100 million in annual revenue. Carnival's VP of corporate affairs Carlos Orta was named Diversity Champion - In-House. HP won for Best In-House Diversity Initiative. Best Campaign by a Diverse and Inclusive Team went to a joint effort among P&G, Egami Group, and BBDO. MWWPR's Amber Arnold was selected as Outstanding Young Professional.
