Ketchum Life and Jefferson Hunt Communications Consultants have been hired on consumer and trade briefs respectively for Tia Lusso, a cream-based coffee and rum liqueur to launch this month.
Ketchum's brief will see the agency tasked with challenging the traditional view of cream liqueurs and build Tia Lusso's profile. The agency will handle all consumer PR and events work until August 2003, on fees of £250,000.
Ketchum's work on the account is headed by director Bronwen Andrews, who reports to Allied Domecq marketing development director Michelle Pitts, and brand director for liqueurs Lizzie Pawsey. Jefferson Hunt reports to UK marketing director Cathryn Sleight.
In addition Jefferson Hunt has won B2B work for Allied Domecq's flagship coconut rum brand, Malibu.
The appointments mean the agency now handles trade PR for all of Allied Domecq's core spirits and champagne brands.
