Hudson Sandler said Benady (pictured) has joined to "develop HS Insights from the ground up".

The idea is to bring "greater data-led insights, intelligence and strategic rigour" to its corporate, brand, consumer and emerging markets practices, Hudson Sandler said, and also bring "data innovation" to its capital markets business.

Benady, who takes the role of head of HS Insights, previously worked at Grayling for almost six years. He joined in 2011 as head of digital and rose to global creative director, a position he held until his departure in April 2017.

Grayling owner Huntsworth sold its majority stake in Hudson Sandler in 2016 as the global corporate and financial agency became an LLP.

Andrew Hayes, managing partner of Hudson Sandler, said: "We are delighted Victor has joined the team. His considerable experience in delivering campaign strategies, underpinned by insights and actionable digital data, will transform the way we work with our clients. He has presented an exciting plan for HS Insights, our new strategic offer, which is already beginning to have a positive impact on the way we work. HS Insights will solidify and future proof Hudson Sandler’s already greatly evolved offer following a number of other high-profile senior hires this year."

Benady said: "As an agency that is growing where others are struggling, it’s exciting to have the opportunity to establish an offer that can only build on that extraordinary momentum."

Hudson Sandler has made a number of hires in recent months, including other Grayling alumnus Rebecca Gudgeon (board director) and Sue Hutchinson (associate partner).
