Hudson Sandler said Benady (pictured) has joined to "develop HS Insights from the ground up".
The idea is to bring "greater data-led insights, intelligence and strategic rigour" to its corporate, brand, consumer and emerging markets practices, Hudson Sandler said, and also bring "data innovation" to its capital markets business.
Benady, who takes the role of head of HS Insights, previously worked at Grayling for almost six years. He joined in 2011 as head of digital and rose to global creative director, a position he held until his departure in April 2017.
Grayling owner Huntsworth sold its majority stake in Hudson Sandler in 2016 as the global corporate and financial agency became an LLP.
