Temple assumes media duties for Jordan Formula 1

Formula 1 racing team Jordan has decided against replacing its departed communications chief Giselle Davies.

The duties of Davies - who quit to become communications director at the International Olympic Committee last month (PRWeek, 5 April) - are to be shared between the eight-strong marketing team.

Media relations work has been handed to sole PR staffer Helen Temple.

She retains her job title of communications executive and reports to marketing head Mark Gallagher.

Temple joined Jordan from Firefly Communications, where she was a senior consultant, in April last year.

Silverstone-based Temple is now Jordan's sole press contact, handling media enquiries for the 600-strong international press corps that attends each Grand Prix.
