Text100 goes back to Open Uni
Text100 has been appointed by The Open University (OU) to a four-year consumer PR brief following a competitive tender process. The brief was previously held by Lexis, a Text100 sister firm until it was merged into its fellow Next Fifteen agency in the summer. Text100 will work in partnership with the OU's other marketing agencies - MediaCom, LIDA and RAPP - to deliver integrated campaign activity.
McGuinness takes to the stage
Andrew McGuinness, the former Freuds CEO and ad industry executive, has raised £3m in funding for a AR and VR theatre experience in East London, which is launching next year. Greentarget hires director
The financial and b2b specialist Greentarget has taken on Jamie Brownlee, latterly a director at Citigate Dewe Rogerson. He joins the independent UK and US agency in the New Year.
Vernon joins AMEC board
Nadin Vernon, a strategy consultant at Prime Research, has been appointed vice-chair of the European chapter of PR measurement body AMEC. She is serving under chair Barbara Bassi, who enters her second year in that role and 11th year in total on the European board.
WPP digital transaction
WPP has announced that Ogilvy & Mather has acquired a majority stake in Hong Kong digital consultancy ARBA.
