Redleaf briefed by reality start-up
Redleaf Communications has been appointed by UK-based immersive reality company Immotion to run a creative comms campaign to raise its profile as its rolls out platforms across Europe and the US. Customers of the start-up, which recently raised £1.3m, are expected to include shopping malls and theme parks. The Porta-owned agency's team will be led by a recent hire, director Robin Tozer.
PC to PR Air Partner
Global aviation services provider Air Partner has appointed travel and lifestyle PR firm The PC Agency. The agency said in a release that it would be "working closely with the Air Partner Group to execute an engaging and tailored communications plan targeted at consumer, trade and B2B media, ensuring that throughout 2018 the company grows and remains at the forefront of the sector".
New starter at Makara
Louise Finke, until recently a product manager at Shire Health, has joined healthcare comms and education agency Makara Health as a director. She will support its new business growth and strategic programme delivery, the firm said.
Substance hires Gourlay
Creative marketing and PR agency Substance Global has hired Olivia Gourlay as commercial director. SHe previously worked for agency Zero Degrees West and before that has been with Premier PR, Taylor Herring and Talk PR.
Higginson appoints Sutherland
Sian Sutherland, the co-founder of the Mio and Mama Mio skincare brands and campaign group A Plastic Planet, has joined start-up agency Higginson PR has associated head of brand. The agency was set up by a husband-and-wife duo with journalism backgrounds at the start of 2017.
Midlands agency's new fixture
Midlands-based Cartwright Communications has been appointed by building products and fixings provider Midland Fixings as the firm looks to boost its profile across the UK.
