MEDIA: Stihler to edit EU Parliament Magazine

The Parliament Magazine, the Brussels-based title of the European Parliament, has a new focal point for public affairs practitioners seeking to push issues onto Europe's agenda.

Catherine Stihler has replaced fellow MEP Graham Watson as editor. Watson has quit to concentrate on his role as Liberal group president. Stihler will develop the magazine's editorial direction.

Day-to-day running of the magazine will be in the hands of managing editor Adele Brown. Features editor is Brian Johnson and commissioning editor is Ilinor Blair.

A new editorial board is shortly to be appointed.

The board will fulfil a similar advisory and assistance role to that of The Parliament Magazine's Westminster sister, The House.

Meanwhile the magazines' publisher, Parliamentary Communications, has also launched a new title: PH7.

Billed as a parliamentary health magazine, it covers topics such as legislation and new drugs as well as issues-based content. The editor is Sally Dawson.

The titles can be found online at epolitix, the politics portal.
