PRWeek Jobs, part of Haymarket Media Group, has launched a campaign to get UK organisations enthused about showcasing their employer brand, called 'Wonderful Workplaces'. A sneak preview of the Wonderful Workplaces in PR careers hub is now available to view here.
For PR practitioners and jobseekers, it will offer a hub of information about working for different employers in the PR and communications industry, such as why it is a great place to work, what the team culture is like and what unique opportunities they offer. The page will also host general career advice such as CV and interview tips to help you land your perfect job role. For recruiters, it will offer advice to help you build your employer brand and attract top talent.
Why should we care about employer branding?
- A PRWeek Jobs / Haymarket Business Media recruitment survey in 2016 found that 89% of active PR jobseekers would take an employer's brand into consideration when applying for jobs.
- 91% said an employer's company reputation is important.
- And LinkedIn research shows recruiters fail to communicate the values of the hiring company in 55% of cases.
For PR professionals and jobseekers
Jobseekers and professionals in the PR industry will be able to use the PRWeek Jobs 'Wonderful Workplaces' hub to find out what the organisation's culture is like, career development opportunities, and job vacancies, at some of the PR industry's most exciting places to work. You will also have access to a range of free career advice and recruitment experts.
What is it like to work at...
The 'What is it like to work at...?' section offers insider insight into what it's like to work for the PR employers profiled there. Hear from the horse's mouth what an employer is looking for in their future employees, why you would want to work there and what the roles they're recruiting for involve, to get an idea as to whether it's right for you before you apply.
A dedicated section for recruitment consultancies
The hub page features a dedicated section for recruitment consultancies to showcase their expertise. Hear from top specialist PR recruitment consultancies and get their expert insights - from career advice to recruitment tips - to help you get ahead in your career.
The recruitment advice section on the Wonderful Workplaces hub is designed to provide key insights for recruiters - including white papers, employer branding tips and more.
